Reverend Earl (Gilly) Gilhouse resides with his wife Amy on their Manitou Beach farm. Having raised 3 children and 4 foster children, Gilly is now enjoying being a grandpa.

After graduating from Madison High School in 1981, seven years were spent serving in the U.S. Navy Seabees. He is currently the leader of Team 3 in Lenawee County’s CERT (Community Emergency Response Team). Gilly’s ministry credentials are through the Evangelical Association of Christian Ministers. Gilly sells and services water softeners and water Treatment systems as the owner/founder of ANG Water Technologies LLC. He also manages the Aquatic Weed Harvester which provides a chemical free option to aquatic vegetation management. While Gilly has enjoyed fishing for pike and croppies in our local waters, it is his interest in conserving and protecting our water resources that led to his purchase of the aquatic harvester. Through his mother-in-law, Nancy Nichols, Gilly became involved in county politics. He would like to continue and expand that involvement as a county commissioner. Gilly looks forward to representing the business owners and families who live in District 3.
